We are seeking a talented and creative social media manager to work with existing and new social media clients for YB!

Social Media Manager Job Responsibilities:

  • Contributes to client marketing strategies by leveraging social media to identify and acquire customers, create awareness and drive towards clients’ end goals.
  • Develops social media marketing plans and programs for assigned customers and directs promotional support.
  • Maintains online relations with customers by organizing and developing specific customer-relations programs.
  • May have some in-person meetings.
  • Provides short- and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis, and interpretation of market data.
  • Creates new strategies for market development, acquiring and analyzing data, and consulting with internal and external sources.
  • Maintains research database by identifying and assembling marketing information.
  • Provides marketing information by answering questions and requests.
  • Achieves financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances, and initiating corrective actions.
  • Completes social media marketing department operational requirements by scheduling and assigning plans, graphics, content, submissions and reporting.
  • Maintains YB-client relationships with friendly and professional communications and updates.
  • May develop YB Marketing’s own social media plans as well as testing new platforms with clients and YB in mind
  • Work with all YB team members including management to educate the team on social media topics in order to sell and gain new clients

Work Environment / Work Hours:

Yakima Branding is a fully remote workforce with extensive use of Zoom, phone and email.  Local employees are strongly encouraged to interact with each other in person for social well-being. Client interactions are based on need, budget and plan, though we encourage time-efficient communications wherever possible.

The ideal candidate resides in the Yakima Valley / Tri-Cities area.

Our normal work hours are M-F, 8AM – 5PM

Social Media Marketing Manager Qualifications/Skills:

  • Social media skills and experience for ongoing business(es)
  • Comprehensive data understanding, metrics and communications
  • Creating and maintaining client relationships
  • Working in a structured work pattern for efficiency and repeatability
  • Developing and managing “best” processes while seeking improvements
  • Self-motivated and customer-focused
  • Proficient in marketing research and statistical analysis
  • Familiar with financial planning (ROI) and strategy

Education, Experience, and Licensing Requirements:

  • Proven working experience in digital marketing in an industry where Social Media is a “requirement” for growth and visibility.
  • Demonstrable experience leading and managing SEO/SEM, marketing database, and social media advertising campaigns.
  • Solid knowledge of website and marketing analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Search Console, WebTrends, SEMRush, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of ad serving tools.
  • Working knowledge of graphics tools (e.g. Canva)
  • Experience in setting up and optimizing PPC campaigns on major social media platforms.
  • Understanding of website CMS, pixel management, analytics.
